What we collect

When you submit a pre-qualification request we collect your name, phone number, ZIP code, the type of project you need financed, and your self-reported credit range. If you proceed with a formal application, the lender you select will collect additional information directly, which may include Social Security number, income, and employment details.

How we use it

We use your information to match your file with lender programs, to contact you about your application, and to coordinate installation with a contractor if you proceed. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share your information with lender partners for the purpose of evaluating your financing request, and with the licensed contractor assigned to your installation. Both use it only for those purposes.

Credit inquiries

Pre-qualification uses a soft credit inquiry, which does not affect your credit score and is not visible to other lenders. A hard inquiry occurs only if you choose to proceed with a formal application, and you will be told before that happens.

Communications

By submitting a request you consent to be contacted by phone, text, and email about your financing request. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.

Data retention and security

We retain application information as required by applicable lending and recordkeeping regulations, and use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect it.
